# Triangle Missing Sides

Given the lengths of the other two sides of a right triangle, this calculator computes the length of one side. A right triangle has two sides that are perpendicular to one another. The perpendicular sides are "a" and "b," and the hypothenuse is "c." Enter the length of any two sides and leave the computed side blank. Check out the Regular Triangle Calculator and the Irregular Triangle Calculator as well.

c = b 2 3 = 10 3

As seen above, knowing only one side of a 30-60-90 triangle allows you to readily compute the length of any of the other sides. This triangle may be used to calculate trigonometric functions for /6 multiples.

Isosceles triangles have two sides that have the same length. This triangle's sides are either 6, 6, and 12 or 6, 12, and 12.

p class="child-paragraph"> The sum of a triangle's two smaller sides must be bigger than the triangle's longest side. Because the triangle cannot have sides measuring 6, 6, and 12

The radius of a circle that goes through all the vertices of a polygon, in this example a triangle, is defined as the circumradius. The circumcenter of the triangle and the point from which the circumradius is measured is the center of this circle, where all the perpendicular bisectors of each side of the triangle meet. The circumcenter of the triangle does not have to be located inside the triangle. It is important to note that all triangles have a circumcircle (circle that goes around each vertex) and hence a circumradius. The circumradius is determined using the following formula for the purposes of this calculator:
