The city's webcast and passersby' smartphones captured the tragedy of the collision. One video shows the SUV breaking past the barriers and contains what seems to be gunshots. Going through there later was like walking through a battle zone, said Ken Walter, who had been riding in the procession in a hot air balloon basket hauled on a trailer with his wife and youngest kid. There were blanket heaps with officers standing over them that you simply knew were corpses.
He said, "At that point, I simply wanted to take my kid and family and get them to the curb." It was entirely deliberate. He says the vehicle traveled for approximately a mile through the procession. I saw a small youngster being struck. He was still alive and well. He was in a lot of discomfort. He was almost certainly going to have shattered legs. I did saw another man lying on the roadway. He was definitely dead. There were roughly 20 ambulances arriving and departing. It seemed to be a combat zone down there. According to scanner recordings, police officers subsequently discovered the abandoned SUV in a driveway. On the police radio, an officer said that a bullet impacted the windshield, but there was no proof that anybody inside the car was harmed.

It's just f****** anarchy. That was the most horrible thing I'd ever seen in my life. What is wrong with the world right now? cries a guy. Be warned: the video includes explicit language and is quite unsettling. View this Instagram post Wehitaspeedbump (@jadensingsime) shared a post.

Take a look at Boudin's revolutionary background if you have any doubts that this is not an ideological tactic to overthrow law and order.
He is the son of Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, Weather Underground Marxist terrorists who were imprisoned for the deaths of two police officers and a security guard during the Brinks heist in Rockland County in 1981. At the time, Boudin was 14 months old and was raised by Barack Obama's radical tutor and Weather Underground luminary Bill Ayers.

[music from a marching band] [sirens] Our great Waukesha parade was turned into a sad tragedy last night. Last night, the procession turned into a nightmare. The tragic events of yesterday night, however, will not define Waukesha. We are a community that will unite. The suspect was apprehended a short distance from the location, and we believe he acted alone. There is no proof that this was a terrorist attack. The Waukesha Police Department is now referring five counts of first-degree intentional murder, with further charges pending depending on the investigation. When this horrible catastrophe happened, I hurried to the site, and what I witnessed emerged from the midst of confusion and tragedy: heroes.

"Nobody knew whether this was an assault, if it was an accident, or if it was a premeditated attack on the people in the march," he told CNN. "People simply began fleeing, racing away from the scene, leaving their stuff behind, clutching their children, shouting and begging for their loved ones." And as the throng thinned out, I thought I saw individuals who seemed to be laying in the middle of the street, motionless and dead."
