Kenma, like his squad, is good at receiving. He is shown to be able to make saves with either one or both hands and to sometimes dive for the ball if no one else can. However, owing to the overwhelming force of the spike, he is sometimes unable to resist it against players such as Bokuto. Blocking: Because Kenma is shorter than some of his teammates, players like as Bokuto have targeted him in an effort to spike over Kenma's lower block. Kenma may compensate for this at times by switching places with a taller blocker to give them a greater chance of stopping opposing spikes.

Despite his seeming apathy, Kenma is the sort of guy who only does things he likes and would leave volleyball if he didn't enjoy it in some manner, which he defined as the component of increasing his talents (kind like a video game). Despite his difficulty communicating his sentiments, his pals are the true motivators for his continued participation in volleyball. Abilities

"Understand your flaws. Accept their offer. Forget about the weapons you can't use. Find as many as you can... then carefully, relentlessly hone them all to a wicked point. That's what it's like to be a Little Giant." - formalized paraphrase (To himself, Volume 41 Chapter 362) "So I suppose I created a monster, huh? That appeals to me." - formalized paraphrase (To himself, Volume 42 Chapter 368)
